Karen Schnee has over 25 years of experience providing speech, language, and educational services to children and adults. Her background includes a rich blend of experience from both the public and private sectors.

Karen served as a Special Education Master Teacher with the Burbank Unified School District. She worked as a Speech Pathologist at Northridge Medical Center and Simi Valley Hospital where she provided evaluation and treatment services in acute care, rehabilitation, and outpatient settings. She also worked in an early intervention program at Simi Valley Hospital with children ages 3-12

At Los Angeles Pierce College, Karen worked as a Learning Disability Specialist where she evaluated students with Specific Learning Disabilities and determined if they met eligibility requirements under Title V regulations. Since 2001, she has been in private practice as a consultant and diagnostician for children with Specific Learning Disabilities and Developmental Delays.

Karen earned a B.A. in Child Development from the University of California at Berkeley. In addition, she earned an M.A. in Learning and Reading Disorders as well as an M.A. in Communication Disorders, both from California State University Northridge. Karen holds Multiple Subject and Learning Handicapped Lifetime credentials to teach grades K-12.

As an Educational Consultant, Karen Schnee provides a full range of Speech, Language and Educational services to meet your child’s individualized needs. These services include Educational Consulting, Diagnosis of Speech and Language, Auditory Processing, and Specific Learning Disabilities and Treatment Therapy. Karen is available to represent you as an Expert Witness at IEP’s, Mediation and Due Process Hearings.
